add option to start minimized in the tray

Description

if the 'show tray icon' option is active, there should be another option to allow the user to start the application minimized in the tray icon.

I think you're referring to the --minimized startop option, which already exists.

I didn't know about the command line option, however I think the option should be available in the preferences dialog.

Requiring a command line option is definitely not user friendly, and I thought that was Transmission's strong point. An option to start Transmission in the tray should be included, or have Transmission remember the state in which it was last time it was closed, and start in the same state.

The lack of "Start minimized" option in "Preferences" may look non-user-friendly, but you can put a transmission.desktop launcher file with transmission-gtk --minimized command on the desktop.
Just drag-and-drop the launcher icon from the main programs menu onto your desktop, then edit it with your favourite text editor.
