#1009 closed Bug (fixed)

"Not available" ambiguous

Reported by: jidanni Owned by: charles
Priority: Low Milestone: 1.30
Component: GTK+ Client Version: 1.21
Severity: Trivial Keywords:

When one first starts a torrent, we see "Not available", meaning the time estimate is not available yet as the program hasn't enough data to compute it yet.

However the user thinks this means "the files this torrent refers to are not available on the Internet" -- which by coincidence is true if this state of no data remains that way for long.

So perhaps reword.

this ambiguity bit the mac client too. I've updated the gtk client in r6104 to use the updated text that the mac client uses.
