Description
Well, there's not much I can say. I launch Transmission, leave it downloading and then, after some time, when I come back, it's gone.
Last night I set the ulimit -c and launched it in a terminal. It hadn't been compiled with a debugger switch (-g), so I'm not sure how useful the core dump is. (I'm new to linux AND to debuggers, so...)
Anyway, I'll attach it.
If there's anything I could do, just tell me. I really like this bt client, but segfaults suck...

... you're right. you do need to compile with the -g switch; that's a very unhelpful backtrace, unfortunately.
OTOH if you're new to Linux and debuggers, even being able to produce that shows you're way ahead of a tough learning curve. :)

I need more info before I can proceed on this. :(
The attachment didn't make it through.
There's not really anything I can do with this ticket until there's more information to go on... please reopen this ticket when you attach the backtrace.
