Description

Hello! I'd like to report a severe memory-leak in Transmission 1.33 (6594) on Mac OS X (the bug appeares in previous versions as well though). It happens when it checks the existing data of active torrents, say after a crash or "wrongful" shutdown. I'm sitting on a brand new iMac with 4GB of ram, I have ~3.3GB free when OSX is finished booting, and if I then start up Transmission and it starts its check, the free RAM drops to under 10MB in under a minute, fills the swap with <30MB and then it stops there (guessing OSX has some kind of garbage-collecting-thingy to stop apps from going berzerk) The memory is not recovered when all the checks is done.

Regards, Robin
