Description
Preference window remains unhighlighted (unselected) and non-functional after updating list of known bad peers. This occurs when Transmission is hidden during the blocklist update.

I'm confused by what you mean by this. Are you saying that if the blocklist updates the window should gain focus, even if it's in the background?

i managed to recreat this.
Open Transmission Open preferences Click Peers, update Hit command-h (to hide the whole of transmission) wait until the update has finished (i have istat menus to monitor bandwidth, personally)
return to transmission to find the preferences window active, but all other panes greyed out. (screenshot attached)

As far as I can tell, this is an Apple bug. Transmission's code does not differentiate what happens with the sheet for when the app is hidden vs not. Can you report this upstream to Apple?
