This change has the side effect that when you remove a torrent from the list via the iPhone/iPod Touch web interface, Mobile Safari closes and opens again in a new window.

This doesn't happen when the line is not set.

Besides, the address bar does actually hide without that line as well. Imho it is not necessary.

Hm.

I checked out the demo application at referred to in the link above, and it actually hides the address bar completely. it never shows up. This is not the case for Clutch, even when that above line is added.

I'm not familiar at all with web programming, so I won't be of much help here finding a fix, sorry :/

I apologize, I reacted too fast. After some fiddling around I discovered that I had to delete the icon from my iPhone desktop and recreate it. It works fine now.

Although the interface looks a bit weird now, because the status bar at the bottom is missing as well, and instead there's just white space.

I'm using Transmission on Mac, version 1.40 (7084).

Added as Home Screen icon on iPhone.

When I "filter" by "All", "Donwloading", "Seeding" or "Paused" it is opening another window on safari. This is an new tab on my safari witch has the address bar and everything.

Maybe being and "apple-mobile-web-app-capable" implies that all operations are ajax-driven, so to not reload the page or request other address. But I don't really know, just guessing....
