Description

I use Gentoo with 2.6.25-r9 kernel as a file-server/router/torrentbox(with torretn flux b4rt). For torrent flux I use trensmissioncli 1.06 with flux patch.

From time to time, mostly when I start a few more torrents then just 10 my server crashes. Here's an Oops message:

It also happened when i was using Debian and if I remember correctly version 0.96.

Not sure if it's a bug. I just couldn't get rid of it, even after changing the whole system, kernel, client version and web frontend version.

If it relevant the hardware is:

ASUS P2B-DS 2x Pentium III 900 Mhz 4x 256 MB DIMM RAM

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

If you can replicate this with 1.40 (or a recent checkout) please reopen. 1.06 is no longer supported.

This is not a Transmission bug, no matter what version of Transmission you're using. Kernel crashes are due to a bug in the kernel, or (more likely, in this case) hardware error.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
