Group specific speed and ratio settings

It would be nice if groups could have specific speed settings, for example, the "Public" group could be set to seed to 1.0 ratio, the "TrackerX" group to 3.0 and to seed at 100kbps.

These settings would be applied when a group is set to a torrent.

In a separate bug I also asked for setting of priorities by group, which was closed with the message that it would be covered when this bug was fixed. Just making a note of that here.

I just wanted to add that if this is done as part of a larger group update, then one thing I'd like to see is the ability to weight groups using priorities. For example, I could have group B be low priority, but if I set one of its transfer to high priority then, Transmission will attempt to complete that torrent first out of the group. This would probably require torrents to be able to override the group priority if you want one or two to be completed globally while others are done within the group.

Just an idea anyway, but I do tend to have a group for huge torrents that I'm not as fussy about (since they're going to take ages anyway), while I have another group for smaller files that I'd like to get more quickly, so being able to manage this easily would be nice. Just something to keep in mind!

I would like to see the ratio for all the torrents in a group in the group status bar. Some of my private trackers require you to maintain certain ratios and I would like to keep an eye on my overall ratio of a group of torrents. I think it would live nicely next to the group upload/download speed.

I do really want to see a option of the Ratio, Speed (D/U), and how many active torrents, on a group.

Be now we are able to filter torrents by trackers, and placing the downloaded content in a unique folder, GREATE features, but I want more options for those groups!

Again:

• Seeding time, ratio..
• Set how many seeding torrents, how many downloading torrents are allowed
• Limit the upload and download speed.

All this for all separate groups! :)

I would altso like to see this feature. I would be nice to change both the "Transfers" and "Bandwith" tab in settings for each group. A drop down menu at each of the mentioned tabs giving the user possibility to change the settings for all transfers(Global), OR an individual group would be perfect!

"Bandwidth pools" per tracker, or private-flagged vs public-flagged torrents would be a great addition onto this.
