"Right now I'm trying to use Transmission to download a file. This file is is included in a torrent which also has over 2,000 more files, but I'm only interested in this one specific file. Locating it among such a huge number of files is proving quite painful, though, so I wonder: would it be possible to include some kind of search -or filter- field in the files tab of the torrent details window, which could be used to quickly locate a specific file or folder?"

A forum user pointed that this feature has been included in the Mac client as of 1.50.

I'm not saying this will never happen, but it's not important IMO and I'm not going to spend time on it.
If lots of people come along and second this ticket, or (better yet) if someone submits a patch, I'd reconsider.
