Description
I'm starting my transmission-daemon (as myself) with a initscript at boot. But i'd prefer to be able to send a 'Quit' signal from transmission-remote (or maybe even from the web interface?) instead of sending a HUP...
Cleaner? Prettier?

What's so wrong with it? You can already send a HUP, stop and remove torrents from remote. What's so wrong in also killing the daemon?
