Slower speeds since 1.34

Description
I don't understand why.... but with version 1.34 I fly up to the fastest speed of my ADSL (about 700 kB/s on a 8 Mbps/384kpbs)... while if I use any 1.4.x it drops on a very irregular 20-45 kB/s and it connects to less peers.
I've checked the difference MANY times. Waiting for the connection to reach it's top speed... knowing that it can connect to different peers. Still... EVERYTIME I used the more recent versions I had much slower speed.
Is it something you planned for some reason or should I just accept the fact and stick with the 1.3.4 version? :)

Of course I want Transmission to be as fast as possible, but there's really nothing in this ticket to actually test.
Unless the OP has more details then this ticket should be closed as invalid.
