Description

A queue for a web interface, a simple but effective way is what oleo did. His setup was as follows 3 directories

source - queued torrents to be processed next working - current working done - torrents where move here when done

He would then run a cron job to check every 30 minites to see if one had finished, or if it needed to start a new one.

this works great when running your program on a router, a real headless machine. this is just an idea to help.

Don't set milestones unless you've already arranged with the development team to submit a patch.

are you suggesting that we have Transmission rely on a cron job in order to implement internal functionality?

I'm not a programmer, I'm just showing how someone else overcame this problem. I'm sure what ever you guys come up with will be great.

In order to do this, ticket #671 needs to be done first.

Surely all (most) functionality in the main app should be in the web ui. Closing this ticket because it really is just an extension of #671.
