Description
Please add the option to show the preferences dialog to the panel icon's menu. It was there in Ubuntu Gutsy (that was some pre-1.0 version), and I miss it :-) What I'd also appreciate is to be able to pause transmission from that menu. Maybe also by double-clicking the icon (It should be dimmed/black'n'whited then)
Oh and as I'm on it: A tooltip with current transmission rates would be nice, too.
Thanks!

Because charles would be the one to implement this. Anyway, we don't accept tickets against old versions.

OK, I've installed the svn version. Like the tooltip!
New ticket text (I cannot edit it above, may you do it for me?):

what does "panel icon's menu" mean?

(1) Please don't file single tickets with multiple requests. It makes tracking tickets more difficult.
(2) Assuming "panel's icon menu" means the toolbar... no, a preferences dialog button is not going to be re-added to the toolbar. It was only in there before because of a kludge in the code. Other applications don't do this because the preferences dialog is not something used as often as other items in the toolbar.
(3) Newer versions of Transmission have "start all" and "pause all" buttons in the main menu, and in the system tray icon's popup menu.
(4) the system tray icon's tooltip gives the transfer rates.

I mean the icon in the notification area on gnome-panel, aka systray.

OK, sorry. Next time.

Hm ok that's an argument.
(4) the system tray icon's tooltip gives the transfer rates.
In the current version yes. As I said: :-)

Just one thing left now: :-)
(3) Newer versions of Transmission have "start all" and "pause all" buttons in the main menu, and in the system tray icon's popup menu.
Yes, but the double clicking feature would be much easier: For example if you wanted to transfer a file to somebody or want play a game which needs a low ping, you'd just double click the icon. It'd turn gray then so will you remember to start it again when you look at the notification area the next time.

Um, why did it set owner to charles? That wasn't me!
