I would like you to clarify on this. Because this would be exactly what I had expected.

I use watchdir in the following configuration.

RSS Feed > FlexGet? > Watchdir

Now I would expect after transmission-daemon has been notified about a new .torrent file it would add it (and start) and then remove it from the watchdir. I do not see the need to keep it there, as it would only cause problems in this situations, as when tranmission is reloaded (and maybe the files have been removed from the complete-dir) the torrent will be re-added, which is in my idea totally unnecessary.

So could you please elaborate on this. (I found it better to reopen this then to open a new ticket, sorry if this isn't standard policy)

The two issues in the original request are dealt with in #2943 and #2898 respectively.

A solution would be adding something to the daemon equivalent to the other guis' "delete torrent file when adding" option, but that is an issue for another ticket. I don't think it should be the daemon's behavior to modify the torrent files when adding it in this way.
