Description
It would be interesting to use the gtk client to connect to a remote transmission-daemon. This way it might take advantage of the whole functionality of the client gtk.

the Qt client does this? I can compile the QT client on Linux?

I agree this would be very nice, especially since the Qt client does this.
However it would require a total rewrite of the application. Unless someone submits a patch for this, it's unlikely to happen.
