I propose that transmission have a sort of "safe mode". Holding a key (shift or otherwise) while opening transmission should start it with all torrents paused. This is to save situations where a certain torrent is crashing transmission, or if you wish for the torrents to just not go back to their previous state when launching.

This ticket applies to both the Mac interface, and GTK.

You can already do this in the gtk client with "transmission -p".
