torrent properties' file list is very slow

Description
this is a little like the Web Client bug resolved in 1.70 -- when a torrent has a long list of files, the gtk+ client displays them very, very slowly.
This issue was raised by a researcher who built a .torrent out of the uncompressed, untarred Linux kernel source tree.
Time to open the file list in 1.70: 6 seconds Time to open the file list in 1.71: 1 second
Even worse, the periodic update of the file list essentially peaked out the entire CPU s.t. Transmission was not usable while the file list was still up.
Fixed in r8633.
