Description
Hi, is it possible to support bittorrent/http/ftp of metalink files? On the other hand, a minimal solution would be to extract the .torrent link, download the torrent and present the "Add" dialog (if possible) when I open transmission with a .metalink file.

No. Transmission is not going to become an all-in-one downloader.
As for the smaller solution... metalinks have been around for years now, and have yet to make even a minimal impact in the torrent world. Maybe sometime down the line that will change and I'd be happy to reconsider at that point... but this is currently a solution in search of a problem.
