Regular crashes when running many torrents

Description

I have around 4000 active torrents on my server. I have a 1GBit connection connected to a 2.4Ghz machine with 4Gb Ram.
Transmission will crash when performing actions such as pausing / unpausing, or adding large amounts of torrents. I attached a crashlog from the last crash, which occurred when setting the maximum active downloads from [off] to [3]. These crashes are regular, so I can provide more logs if required.

I've had two unexplained crashes, however no crash log was generated. It seemed more like Transmission was asked to quit than a crash.

Please allow more time, Things seem to be working better since the switch to nightly builds.

I have a pretty similar looking crash situation with build #14555. exxactly the same crashed thread. it appears to me to have something to do with notification center. FWIW, build #14555 worked very well with under 3,000 torrents. The current stable/release build would always crash with about 2,700 torrents. now I'm over 3,100 torrents (lots of small ones).

Thanks! so far so good with build #14675. Close to 24 hours without crash. I know OT but I'm curious tho about the notification center. Because of problems with stable build (also then suspecting NC) I had turned off notifications for transmission in NC pref pane. But I'd still get "added" notificatons anyway, which seemed odd.
