downloading slow on DNS323

Description
Hi,
I've read the note about usual issues about slow download. I use Dlink DNS323 hardware C1 Firmware Version: 1.08 Tranmission 1.92 curl-7.18.1.tgz uclibc-0.9.29-7.tgz
downloading is slow, I have max 2 or 3 peers, max download ever seen is 18KB/sec while another PC in the same subnet goes soon over 50KB. Router's port are opened and forwarded. I have 2 of 11 connected seeds, 0 of 1 connected peers (63 in swam), but I can see two peers downloading (this using Transmission remote)
the CPU load in very-very low, never over 1%
any suggestion?

Work through http://trac.transmissionbt.com/wiki/SlowSpeeds. If that doesn't help, the forums is better suited for this.
I read that before posting, it didn't help. The same torrent, in the same lan, (with uTorrent on wintel) obtains x10 download transfer speed. I'll use the forum though
