An example of what this could be named: "Hide Gear Menus"

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

This won't happen. This information can't be accessed from a context menu, only the inspector, and too much customization is a bad thing imho.

  • Summary changed from Menu option to hide gear to Hide Gear Menu

Sorry about the naming, I'm used to svn, but not trac...

I agree that too much customization is a bad thing, and that one of transmissions strengths is it's minimal customization options. However, I also believe that another one of transmission's strengths is it's minimal GUI, and that if all of the information in the gear menu were to be accessible through the right-click contextual menu, then a view-menu option to hide the gear menu would create a more minimal, clutter-free view for some users who prefer to right-click.

I believe the gui is still clutter free with's going where white space is and still has decent padding.
