python bindingts to libtransmission

Description
It would be great if there were python bindings to libtransmission. This would make it so much easier to integrate transmission into existing python projects. I am currently using libtorrrent, but i'd rather switch to libtransmission.

It would be nice to compete with libtorrent in that regard, but that's a big undertaking and nobody on the development team has (much) experience with Python. This isn't going to happen unless someone submits a patch for it and is willing to maintain the patch. To be honest this sounds more like a job for a third-party add-on.
