    1 Hi porg: I have been using "piece_temp.7.patch" from #532 patched to r11889 from svn continuously since it was available 10 months ago. I never have to sort through .part files or worry about wasted disk space for unwanted files (a macosx issue). I believe most, or all, of the issues you raised are covered by #532 with #4262 being a very useful compliment. Of course this patch needs updating to work with the current version.
