Transmission hangs too often

Description

Sometimes more, sometimes less, after few hours of usage of Transmission, the software "hangs" NO response then have to terminate it in the activity monitor of MacOSX 10.5.8

The same result happens with earlier versions of Transmission

Try limiting the number of active transfers, number of allowed global peers, and set bandwidth limits.

Is CPU or hard drive in high activity during these hangs?
