Description

Because it's easy (no need to create a netrc file, the password is remembered in the whole session) and more secure (won't be visible in the process list).

r11523 daemon/ (remote.c transmission-remote.1): #3763 (trunk, daemon) "remote should read auth info from an environment variable" -- use suggestion from Rolcol to replace TRAUTH with TR_AUTH
