#3774 closed Bug (invalid)

Compilation for ARM9 with GCC 4.5 is full of memory alignment warnings

Description

While compiling transmission-2.12 with gcc-4.5.1 for ARM9 (more specifically, ARM920T, processor S3C2440) I get lots of this memory alignment warning: "cast increases required alignment of target type"

It is worring, since ARM is not capable of unaligned memory access. Attached id the stderr output of make.

lvella, thanks for reporting these warnings. I've looked over the ones in libtransmission and the code looks okay.

However most of the cast warnings are from the miniupnp / libnatpmp libraries and should be reported upstream to http://miniupnp.tuxfamily.org/forum/
