upgrade transmission

I've just upgraded transmission via ipkg on my western digital NAS (whitelight). when starting up initially, it complained about libevent which I then upgrade as well via ipkg update libevent. upgrade completed successfully, but daemon fails to stay started when processing a torrent file either an existing one or while uploading a new file.

I can't find any log files but /tmp/messages shows daemon starting fine.

any clues?

Hi Rob,

None of the developers are running WD NAS machines, so you might be better off asking this question in the forums at ​https://forum.transmissionbt.com/ rather than here in the bug tracker.

The forums are more widely read, so the odds of you finding someone who's already upgraded on a WD NAS are much higher there. :)
