ignore unencryped peers

Description

I would request that the "ignore unencrypted peers" check box be changed to read something like: "Ignore unencrypted peers in swarms larger than XXXX peers"

Where the XXXX is a number, default might be something like 1, so its function is almost the same as the previous box (with the exception of if there is only one peer in the swarm.

I find myself wanting to only use encrypted peers. My network I find is throttled and I think it helps. However, I don't want to loose valuable peers in some of the very small swarm torrents (where throttling is hardly an issue) I would love to be able to set it so if there is a swarm larger than 10 peers, only encrypted peers would be used. anything smaller, and encrypted peers would be favoured.

Great app. Love it very much.

Thanks for the suggestion, but encryption is meant to get around ISP throttling, etc. Allowing some to be unencrypted would defeat the whole purpose.

I think you misunderstand my suggestion. What I am asking for is in keeping with what you are saying. To clarify I would prefer for all to be encrypted in large swarms. When you have tiny swarms and are starved for any kind of download at all (even a throttled one) then I would like to see a throttled download.

See?

BTW, if its really all or nothing like you say (and I do believe you) why have an option to prefer encrypted peers? Is this by the same logic not a waste of a button?

Once you have one unencrypted, your ISP can detect and throttle. Regardless, this option is a feature few users would use.

You have a point about the "prefer unencrypted peers" option.
