Description
Hello
Installed Transmission to my Dune Max (withing LTU pasckage). Transmission version 2.31 Daemon is running, but trying to contact web interface resulting wrong (broken?) web page. The most strange thing making me think it's a bug and not missconfiguration is the fact that approx one in 100 reloads it showing normal control page, not broken. Attached please find the screenshot. Was trying on IE9, Firefox and Safari current versions - everywhere the same, so it's not a browser-based problem I thinks
Best regards Igor Braginsky

- Priority changed from High to Normal
- Severity changed from Blocker to Normal
That's odd... 2.31 is working fine here.
Do you have any idea on how I could reproduce this error? Are you doing anything unusual in your setup that I might need to try here in order to see the error happen?

Have no idea :( I can propose 2 ways - I may try to provide you access to my Dune in order to check the proper installation or I may follow the steps you will recommend in order to check what is wrong
Installation was fully handled by LTU package, no errors where detected And the most strange thing - few times out of approx 100 it was showed OK
Please advice
Best regards Igor

I'm guessing the installation of the web files are broken? Particularly with jquery directory. I was able to reproduce a similar screenshot by purposely deleting:
web/javascript/jquery/jquery.contextmenu.min.js

@garry_il: can you confirm all the appropriate files are present under your web directory in comparison to source?

Is javascript enabled in your browser(s)? Do you use any script blocking add-ons like NoScript??

Look like all are present, but for check attaching the filelist received by ls -la command Thanks

By the way.. May be you have installation package for Dune HD ? So I'll bypass installing withing the LTU package and such way eliminate possibility of the installation problems not related to transmission itself?

No, scripts are enabled, other sites showing OK, and even transmission was few times working OK, but just few times...
In order to eliminate the possibility of installation problems - do you have the package for Dune I could install from scratch ?
Thanks

Is #4268 related? Does refreshing the page help?
Did you try:
EVENT_NOEPOLL=1 transmission-daemon -f
or
EVENT_NOEPOLL=1 ./transmission-daemon -f

Friends, thanks for your help - I found the problem. Very special thing - wrong way of system drive handling by Dune cause mistakes in filesystem, which caused RANDOM corruption of files.... Obviously nothing worked properly, and the only thing was using this drive was transmission package - system is installed on internal memory and data HDD works properly as well.... SO we may close the ticket and thank you again !
