Full-Screen interface for Lion

Reported by: wizpig64 Owned by: livings124
Priority: Normal Milestone: None Set
Component: Mac Client Version: 2.33
Severity: Minor Keywords: os x 10.7, lion, full-screen

Description

A full-screen interface would fit in with the evolving OS X UI that Apple is pushing.

It could basically be laid out like the web interface, but not using html of course.

Transmission was designed to have a minimal interface. I don't believe full-screen functionality would be too beneficial, and might make use harder (start/stop buttons all the way on the right, for example).

Full screen in Lion is more than just spreading out the interface over the width of the screen. It separates applications into separate desktops. I have been finding it much easier to navigate between applications when more of them support full screen.

Your opinion of full screen not being relevant is just your opinion, others may have a different opinion. Lots of users may find it useful, some may not. But unless the functionality is there, they can't choose.

I believe full screen would be a nice addition to your product. Anyone who finds this and thinks so too, please comment.

I agree that the standard Mac OS X Lion+ fullscreen mode would be very beneficial to my use case.

I agree fully. I just switched from utorrent and was really disappointed when i found this issue closed. I seems that livings124 missed some of the point with native full screen.
