Version 2.33 WebUI Not Functioning from iPhone

Description

I've been trying to access the WebUI from my iPhone (I've previously done this with no problems) and it doesn't seem to want to connect.

I've followed all the settings noted in the instructuons but it's still gives me the following error

"Cannot Open Transmission WebUI

Transmission WebUI could not open the page because the server stopped responding"

Please help!

Thanks! I love the app and the WebUI, I use it every day from work to start torrents

No problem here. What URL are you using?

I use the standalone browser app thing.

I also tried several other URLs as well.

Are you sure you have Transmission open at the time, and remote access enabled in the prefs window? What happens if you replace localhost with your ip address?

Yes to all, I always did replace localhost with my IP, I just don't want to write my IP on a forum.

It's still not working for me, but I can open the remote page through the browser on my mac, just not my iPhone, even when connected to my wifi.

Seems really strange... I wonder if it's something to do with Lion or a new iPhone update?

@TaySharpe?

Have you checked to make sure whitelist is OFF:

Transmission > Preferences > Remote > "Only allow the following IP addresses to connect:"

Yep, it's definitely off.

Are you sure the port you specify matches the one you set in prefs (http://ipaddress:port/)? What happens if you append /transmission/web/ to the end of the url?

I got it to work! I reset my routers and re-entered everything from step 1 and it's good to go. Thanks for the help! TS
