What do you mean they cannot be removed from the project?

hi livings124,

In xcode project, you can add/remove languages and select local files to be removed. All other languages can be added/removed, but not the portugese and chinese ones. Seems like some issues with these. If you add these languages, Xcode simple adds them, but it will show a new entry, thus having these ones double in the localized parts and xibs.

How are you trying to remove them?

  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Status changed from new to closed

They remove fine for me. This is likely an Xcode issue on your end.

hi livings124,

did you also check that they are really removed from the GUI/Resources?

comment:6 Changed 11 years ago by livings124

None of the languages I tried to remove were removed. This is with the current trunk version and Xcode 4.1.

so how could I get to only have an English version?

comment:8 Changed 11 years ago by livings124

Why do you only want an English version? Just set your language to English, and it will open in English. Or manually remove the non-English lproj directories.
