Description

Hi Dear Transmission Team!

You have created a wonderfull application with lots of functionality, you are the best!

However I miss one option, or rather said a script. That is:

  • Moving from the "finishes" folder to another folder the file.
  • After moving the file verification can not be done, only when it is moved back to the "finished" folder.

Change History (4)

#3612 covers the first issue.

Not doing file verification is not something we want to do, as it could lead to seeding incorrect data, especially on finished data that might have been modified.

  • Resolution set to duplicate
  • Status changed from new to closed

Benke86: "After moving the file verification can not be done, only when it is moved back to the "finished" folder."

You can use "Set Location" or "Move Data File To…" to point Transmission to the new location and then request verification.

Firstly sorry for the lack of information. I'm using the following setup: PC with WIN 7 - remote control iPhone 3GS - remote control D-Link DNS-320 with linux OS - host

I searched the web to find out how to find the set location option or the move data file to option. I found out, that option is available for max OSX and is visible by highlighting the torrent file and right click on it enables a drop down menu. ( If I'm not right sorry ) This option I can not find when I'm using PC with WIN7 64bit and Firefox. Nor when using my iPhone with Safari.

I have another ticket for enhancement also, maybe this option can can be implemented in it?

If additional info is needed please contact me.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
