Description
I have the same problem as described in this bug https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/5110 except I'm not running the Linux/Qt? client, I'm running OS X v10.8.2.
Specifically I'm on a Fiber connection at 80mbps (~10MB/s), my speeds however continue increasing way past that hard limit, Activity Monitor tells me my current overall download speed is ~5MB/s but the Transmission is reporting a download speed of over 1GB/s!!!
I'm also using a VPN (L2TP over IPSec), but I don't think that should make any difference...
Maybe this could be merged w/ the other bug report? As seems to be affecting two completely different clients...
