Cleaner look for the pieces bar

I think the pieces bar should get a cleaner, "easier to understand" look. When i first started using the pieces bar i was confused because it looked like it was split up in four.

The bar is supposed to be two bars, one on top of the other, so each is drawn as if it was drawn individually. If you want to submit a patch to get the bottom bar to appear smoother, reopen this.
