#5227 closed Bug (incomplete)

Magnet links look like they are not working

Reported by: om26er Owned by: jordan
Priority: Normal Milestone: None Set
Component: GTK+ Client Version: 2.76
Severity: Normal Keywords:

Description

When a magnetic link is opened in transmission, its showing as is not working, in windows when it says None, that means that you have an older version of the program, and it cannot load magnet links.

So instead of showing None, for magnet links, i suggest to use something else, or simply write Magnet Link :) and further down to select where i want to download the magnet link

Magnet links are works-for-me in both 2.76 and trunk, but more importantly I don't really understand what this ticket is saying:

its showing as is not working, in windows when it says None, that means you have an older version of the program, and it cannot load magnet links.

I'm sorry, but I can't parse this at all. Could you try rephrasing it, giving specific details about the steps you're following, and be more detailed about the results that you're seeing?
