Certain .torrent files cannot be used with Transmission

Transmission cannot handle certain .torrents files without raising an error. In the message log, there's "Invalid name strings" errors. attached with this email are copies of these offending .torrent files for you to dissect.

Maybe they have invalid name strings?

For the attached torrents, the name field in each is zero bytes long.

Names and paths are only suggestions (refer to the original bittorrent specification). Clients should not fatally error if the torrent is properly b-encoded and has the required dictionaries. (Handling torrents with odd character encodings and names are a problem with many clients, but if they were properly designed they would work around this problem and allow the user to download the torrents.)

crf is correct -- the spec is explicit that the name is "purely advisory".
