This line seemed suspicious to me, because it's a uTP connection (which BitTornado? doesn't support) and because there is no BitTornado? 18.33.0:

#9  myHandshakeDoneCB (handshake=<optimized out>, io=<optimized out>, readAnythingFromPeer=<optimized out>, isConnected=<optimized out>, peer_id=0x7f2f68584b7c "TIX0194-j2e4f9d8i9a9\203\t\360Q", vmanager=<optimized out>) at peer-mgr.c:2054

        buf = "BitTornado 18.33.0\000\000\000\000\000\000`\240\003h/\177\000\000\000\001\000\000\000\000\000\000\261\071\200\210\320\200\377\377\021\000\000\000\000\000\000\000\264\177\066\223/\177\000\000P\307\177w/\177\000\000s\212\066\223/\177\000\000\000\000\000\000\000\000\000\000\024", '\000' <repeats 15 times>, "s6\207\220/\177\000\000p+Ah\022\000\000\000!\000\000\000\000\000\000"
        peer = <optimized out>

        manager = <optimized out>
        s = 0x7f2f68004500
Transmission sees the peer in the report as "BitTornado 18.33.0"

This Tixati forum thread shows Transmission's not alone in misparsing this:

http://forum.tixati.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69975

Tixati sometimes isn't recognized by private trackers. Often by mistake it's labeled as BitTorando because that program happens to have a bit similar peer ID.

Code: Select all
    T03I-----    <= BitTornado
    TIX0193-     <= Tixati

The first character is T in both. In case of BitTornado next are version number. You'll see Tixati 1.93 mislabeled as BitTornado 18.33.0.1.9.3. More details: http://forums.degreez.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7070.

There are two ways to solve this:
1. Ask tracker administrator to add Tixati to whitelist.
2. Change peer ID for the tracker (some risk involved - if detected your account could be disabled for using unsupported client).
