Description
I use this method of sending and receiving files for office work. For some years I had never had any issues... but now, for some reason or another, every file I get is damaged. The files show that they are finished and 100% complete, but any type of .rar or .zip file, is not able to be opened, and no other files work either. I had tried to just test and see if this was my employees sending bad files or damaged files, but it is not. I had sent my family a vacation video that is .avi, and after I had sent the file.. it had worked for some family members, and I had resent the torrent to myself, and mine had been damaged. I use a VLC player to open the video and it took 30 minutes to repair the file... but I had sent it to myself and it was in 100% working order.
I am sorry to write so much, but I wanted to be as detailed as possible so that I could fix the problem. I am an avid user of MAC computers and I really need the Transmission application to work flawlessly to help my workflow. Since this issue, I have had nothing but headaches for weeks. Please help.

What happens when you manually verify these files with "Verify Local Data"? Have you considered the possibility of a failing drive?
