Automatically exclude file types

I'm new to this, so I hope I'm in the right place. :)

In a BT client that already leads the pack in terms of ease of use and hassle-free workflows, one of the few remaining niggles is when a torrent contains multiple files, only some of which you want. The ability to Command+V a torrent and have it automatically start if there is only one file is fantastic. However, when there's only one file you want but some extraneous rubbish you don't, having to deselect all the other stuff is a frustrating time suck.

What I propose is a feature that allows you to automatically exclude nominated file types from download by default. For example, I never read any text files, nor do I use subtitles, so I may elect to add .txt, .nfo and .src files to the filter. I imagine it as a text field that the user can add any number of file suffixes, which Transmission will then automatically uncheck from any potential download dialogues. If that results in only one file in the torrent remaining, it is automatically commenced as occurs currently.

In this way, the already elegant download workflow could be even further streamlined for users with specific needs or desires.

Interesting idea, but this is way too complex and obscure feature.
