Transmission doesn't work if there are multiple devices connected to the modem

Description
I use Transmission 2.82 on an Imac with osx 10.9.2 and if i connect another pc or phone with wifi it stops working. Until a week ago it was working fine. If there isn't anything else connected to the network then it works but with low speed. thank you for your help
