#5795 closed Bug (worksforme)

"remaining time unknown" since upgrading to MacOSX 10.9.5

Description

Using Transmission 2.84. Tried all that I knew, including resetting router setting and port forwarding. Repaired permissions. Used Cocktail to do a full rebuild/reset of logs and permissions. Came here and read up on tickets and forums. Downloaded nightly build "Transmission-14339.dmg" (2.84+) and have tried several torrent files and magnet links, all with the same result that "remaining time unknown" on any download that I have tried since the upgrade. Currently using the app "BitTorrent?" which I really don't like but it is working with the very same torrent and magnet files that Transmission is failing on. I REALLY would rather be using it versus BitTorrent?.

Set your Message Log (Command-3) to debug level and post any relevant entries. Do you connect to peers? Is App Nap disabled in Get Info (Command-I) for Transmission.app?

I did what you asked and submitted it the day or day after your message. When I submitted it there was a message saying that a moderator had to approve it... So why is it not showing up here? Is it what you are still waiting on?

Maybe the moderation queue ate it? Can you send it again?

This looks like a local setup issue, which is better for the forums.

I do not have any start-up scripts, after all all I do is 'su <username-redacted> -c "/path/to/transmission-daemon" to start the daemon. I compile and install everything myself, so I know where the files goes to.[url=http://www.test-king.com/exams/156-215-75.htm]156-215.75 answerurl
