file names from a torrent weird but still verifies

i downloaded a torrent of allman bros band 24bit flac files using transmission app on my drobo.

when I look at files on drobo, they're all weirdly named, but verifying in transmission passes so I'm confused. screenshots will make more sense of it

My guess would be that it's related to colons in filenames. Unix filesystems generally allow this, while samba doesn't since it has restrictions on characters in filenames. Not a Transmission defect.
