Description
When I start the transmission service on FreeBSD 9.3 the rpc-whitelist field in settings.json gets overwritten without any feedback. Either it's a bug or the entry 127.0.0.*,192.168.*.* is malformed so that the feedback needs to be improved significantly.

Please check if daemon is being started with -a/--allowed argument. Direct feedback to FreeBSD port maintainer if you think the behavior (initial setup) is wrong.
