Transmission GTK Does Not Maintain Desktop Position

Description

System Specs;

Slackware 14.1 x86_64 Openbox 3.6.1 gtk+3-3.8.2 transmission-gtk 2.9.0

When opening tranmission, I place it in the center of the screen, and when I close it, and reopen it, it will not open back in the center of the screen.

I also noticed when closing transmission, if I place it in the center of the screen, then close it, the window behdind it that appears saying closing, this will be off center, like it never comes overs to where I place the gui.

I did finally get this to center and stay centered, but I don't not understand, so I'm reporting this as a bug, because nothing should be done to make it maintain position?

In Openbox in the rc.xml I made an entry like this;

<application name="transmission-gtk">

<position force="yes">

<x>center</x> <y>center</y>

</position> <maximized>no</maximized>

</application>

With this entry transmission-gtk opens center of screen, then I removed it to test transmission, and to my surprise it still maintains center position on screen, in fact I can't move it anywhere on the screen and have it maintain that position, it will now always open center.

I don't understand how forcing it with these options, now causes it to stay centered even without them?

Something is odd here... hmm
