Sudden Death

September 23, 2016

It seems trac is dead today, new tickets are not allowed and additional comments are not either (at least for me). I suspect the decommissioning has been enacted without any official announcement. I most certainly hope transmission's trac website remains, and transmission's SVN system [ svn://svn.transmissionbt.com/Transmission ] as well. Both contain historically and significantly important information.

SVN trunk doesn't appear to be current

Today I see based on the github a [REGRESSION] of #1776 "crash in tr_cryptoComputeSecret()"

ticket:1776#comment:5

... and the problem appears to be that "len", the result from DH_compute_key, is -1 ...

r7862 to crypto.c fixed this

Beginning with Release 2.90 r14358 to crypto.c broke it.
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/changeset/14358/trunk/libtransmission/crypto.c

Fix is https://github.com/transmission/transmission/commit/4c00df9463ea4fd70b73c620e439f5c3ee5efa60

Closing as Trac is being decommissioned. All new issues should be reported on GitHub? (https://github.com/transmission/transmission/issues). Existing issues will be migrated at some point.
