Window title + icon in Dock Menu

Reported by: Neowave Owned by: livings124

Description

Request for the window title + default Mac OS X icon to be placed in the Dock Menu for practical usage and consistency. Haven't come across one application (yet) that doesn't have it, that includes single window apps.

  • Priority changed from normal to low

The main window can always be accessed from the WIndow menu. iChat is exactly the same in not showing the Buddy List in the dock. If someone can find a way to have a window listed in the dock menu and not the Window menu this should be done, but for now Im lowering the priority.

"Haven't come across one application (yet) that doesn't have it, that includes single window apps."

Actually, iCal, Address Book, Activity Monitor, and iPhoto don't have it... all single window apps made by Apple.

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

iChat does it like Transmission, and there is a general sense of inconsistency among the apps in regards to this.
