#910 closed Enhancement (invalid)

Make Inspector work like a normal Window

Reported by: MasterBob Owned by: livings124
Priority: Normal Milestone: None Set
Component: Mac Client Version: 1.11
Severity: Normal Keywords:

In Mac OS X (at least 10.4.11), the Inspector window does not accept the common command-w (close) and command-m (minimize) hot keys.

So for example, I will have the main transmission UI open and use the Inspector. The Inspector is the window in focus, so when done with Inspector window I hit command-w to close it. Instead of closing the Inspector window as it is in focus, the main Transmission window closes.

Hopefully this makes sense, hit me up on IRC if not.

  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

The Inspector behaves as all other inspectors do, and the command-w does work (when the Inspector is the active window, not merely visible). Command-m does not work with any Inspector.
