Transmission-Desktop Installation Guide - OS X

• Check your OS is supported (below)
• Download the .dmg
• open the .dmg if OS X didn't do it for you
• Drag Transmission to the Applications folder

Default Configuration File Locations

• Per-torrent settings are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Transmission
• Application settings are stored in ~/Library/Preferences/org.m0k.transmission.plist (equivalent to settings.json under Unix)
• Default download folder is ~/Downloads

Supported OS Versions

Current versions of Transmisson support:

• OS X 10.5
• OS X 10.6

Refer to Previous Releases for using Transmission on earlier versions of OS X.
